The Salvaterra family is unique, forever and always, and although you have to experience it, we will try to explain a little piece of our world here ♡

Our puppies live with us until they are approximately two and a half months old, although the duration is approximate, as it can vary depending on the individual puppy and its level of maturity.

When it's time for them to leave with their new families, we know they do so full of love, fully educated, and, of course, properly weaned and vaccinated, ready to begin a new and happy stage.

We are very proud of them, because we know they will be affectionate, social, and well-balanced thanks to everything they have learned at Salvaterra, and that they will provide such pure love that it will overcome any obstacle in their lives.
They have had the best start and the best family companionship by our side, and that allows them to integrate perfectly into their new home, radiating inexplicable good vibes.

The moment of reunion with their future families, whether in Spain or abroad, is very emotional and important for us. We prepare their belongings and ensure they are in perfect health. We strive to make their arrival as smooth as possible for the puppy's well-being.

Many families come to pick them up personally at our home and meet us in person; this is the option we prefer, as we believe that contact between everyone is wonderful, and as we said at the beginning, forever and always.

For those families who cannot travel, we offer the option of personal puppy delivery, in which a trusted member of our team accompanies them during the journey with great care and attention. Our priority will always be to ensure they receive the attention and affection they deserve at every moment, as this transition is so important for them.

Because we want to make it clear that under no circumstances will we ever allow our babies to travel alone or through parcel delivery companies. We are strongly opposed to this practice; they are our babies, incredible living beings who are part of us and their future parents, part of the family and part of our hearts, and as such, they will be treated and loved like kings and queens.

Our puppies at home

For Salvaterra de Magos, seeing the well-being of our puppies in their homes is very important, and we care about hearing about our babies. What makes us happiest is when you send us photos and videos of them. Seeing these photos gives us strength and motivation to work, and also provides us with more and more desire to continue growing and progressing.

Animal welfare

We breed few litters per year, as all our puppies are born and raised in our home, which requires a lot of work and dedication. We put all our love into our mothers and babies; they are part of our family.

Transparency

From before the puppy is born until it goes to its new home, we provide information about the puppy, send photos of its development, and maintain contact with the families at all times.

Legality in breeding

We have zoological core 485/2014 and a municipal license for the keeping and breeding of animals.

We comply with the highest quality standards regarding legal requirements. Our puppies are delivered with an invoice and corresponding VAT, as well as a written guarantee contract.

Medical tests

All our moms and dads undergo thorough veterinary checks; we perform the corresponding genetic and veterinary health tests to ensure they are not carriers of diseases common to the Toy Poodle breed.

All our puppies undergo veterinary checks and are delivered with a good health certificate.

Socialization

When the puppy starts walking and discovering the world, the routine begins as it is very important. The time for eating, playing, and resting is organized and adapted to their needs. We dedicate 4 hours of playtime, two in the morning and two in the afternoon; they are brushed and groomed daily as hygiene is part of their education.

We teach them basic things like going to the pee pad for their needs, playing and interacting with other puppies, and feeling secure, accompanied by constant cuddles and kisses.

A routine schedule for their rest and meals is also important, as is time with their mother, in order to achieve proper development.

Puppy Delivery

Weaning is a very important step and is done gradually. Each puppy needs to be weaned at a different age, which is why we don't force anything and delivery times vary. They are the ones who feel the need to start eating differently, and little by little they stop drinking their mother's milk, which has provided them with immunity that will help them fight off viruses and bacteria during the first 8 to 10 weeks. From then on, we begin to protect them with vaccines.
