Using shampoo alone is not enough. If you don't moisturize your poodle's hair after bathing, the color fades, the hair dries out, and knots start to appear. After applying the toning shampoo, the conditioner is the second most important step to make its Brown color truly shine.
Step 1: Wash with toning shampoo
To begin, cleanse with the Perfect Brown shampoo:
- Apply with gloves to wet hair.
- Massage and leave on for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Rinse with plenty of water.
This step deposits pigment and prepares the hair fiber to absorb the conditioner.
Step 2: Hydration and color setting
Apply the conditioner from mid-lengths to ends, on still damp hair:
- Apply with gloves to wet hair.
- Leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes for deep hydration.
- Gently massage to distribute the product well and activate the pigments.
- Rinse with water until all residue is removed.
